Hey Ray, nice bubble posts, and you send us to www. to see more?

Maybe I should make a post, are you smarter than a sixth grader?

My grandchildren know what the exclusive right of the House is.
And what powers are vested in the Senate.

"bubble posts"???
"exclusive right of the house"????
"powers vested in the senate" ???

I haven't the slightest clue how your comments relate in any way whatsoever to anything I posted.

I'd be really interested in your explanation of what you're talking about.

As for me sending you to the WWW, you were already there/here.

CasualCarol: Hey Ray,...

Just wondering Carol, which do you think is the major problem?

Massive debt so overwhelming that the US can't even pay the interest without borrowing more, coupled with continued deficit spending at an unprecedented and completely unsustainable rate?
or
Lawmakers trying to reign in the spending?

Maybe you should ask your grandchildren to help you figure it out.

rizlared: Guess my meaning got lost in the translation, "your Country" "Children" indicate the text is referring to a community not an individual.

Even if you refer to the all “comunnity” with the you:
(which by the way in Spanish we do have you for singular and the you for plural)

"Each mortal citizen" and even the "whole community of mortal citizens" is not responsible for the USA’s exterior policy, USA’economy and etc...

As Ray has said it before;

The mess is made by politicians and the “mortal citizens” are the ones paying for it.

handshake

RayfromUSA: It was clear to me Rizlared.

And my above comment to Rizlared:

Most 6ht graders in USA know it.

So as you can maybe read I didn't use "you" I used "your" and children is plural not singular as in child. A reference to the childish behaviour of both parties.

I still don't follow your argument, as unless something incredible has happened in the USA, I was under the impression that politicians were also mortal citizens, but happy to stand corrected if you can show they are another species.

My original post, which you seem to want to answer even though not addressed to you, was pointing out that the people put the politicians in power, therefore they should be the ones controlling them, the citizens should be standing up and screaming at the republicans to put their country first not line their own pockets.

If they don't like the way the government is working on behalf of the country, as a democratic country they can vote them out, it's a simple procedure, a vote of no confidence in the house would force an election, but seeing as the Democratic party had the majority vote and not the republicans, it is about time they (reps)accepted they lost and actually backed the government to find a solution to this woeful economic disaster.

I will discuss this not further.

If you did not note the irony I can not or want to do nothing about it.

My apologies for that I hope not to do it again.

How naive, as if there were a better option among the politicians, among the two parties.

But I might be wrong.
