Just came across this tonight by accident lovely piece of music,

Thinks its the music from ( Our Tune ) on BBC Radio 1

back in the 80s

never heard Wogans version of Our Tune, used to listen to his morning show the odd time he had a huge following as well

Yeah they loved him over there. Even made him a 'Sir'. Well howdy doodie, Sir Terry.

I think it could have been on BBC Radio Manchester or Radio Piccadilly. My brain's not good. Probably because I was always turning him off laugh

pat sharp and capital liked tony blackburn and used to listen to brmb in brummyland, but that many radio stations over there you would get confused dot com .

Back in the 70's around Manchester there were only a couple I think, apart from the BBC. Those were the days when the TV actually shut down for the night. There would be an awful tear to turn it off before Her Majesty would come on riding her donkey.

Turn on any radio station at any time (apart from the music ones) and count how many seconds it takes them to mention the government, the State, the Minister, the IMF, or some rule, regulation or budget. In other words, you can’t listen to the radio without constantly being brainwashed into thinking we need a State to run every aspect of our lives. When you realise that I’m afraid most radio becomes unlistenable (?). The internet is good though if you choose what channels you listen to.

local one is listen to is Midwest radio has a very good mix throughout the day
