Corruption, Bribery, Nepotism and Patronage in Government

I think you're both right. SF are in a nice position where they can champion all the popular stuff but didn't this bunch of crooks do the same thing a few years ago? Enda Kenny said it would be 'immoral' to have a property tax. Gilmor said they would not give a 'penny' to the bondholders. Then they went and did just that.

It's not the parties, it's the system. 'Electing' any bunch gives authority and implied consent for them to make whatever laws they choose, or rather whatever laws their bosses in the European Commission choose. The donkey is dead, don't pet it, shoot it.

"I'm only getting €100,000 a year of your money.... but I have a €400,000 'pension pot' you paid for"laugh

RE: Universal Health Care (projected cost 1,600 euro per person)...

So if James Reilly is right and welfare/pension recipients are going to have money stopped from their weekly payments to fund this new healtcare setup will the Government also be taking money from people's bank accounts to pay for it? Like they said they would do if we didn't pay the Property Tax?

Corruption, Bribery, Nepotism and Patronage in Government

Ooooh, you'd have to ask one of the Feminists to define that for you. It's like most of their terms it means whatever they want it to mean. Don't you just hate Feminism sometimes?

Corruption, Bribery, Nepotism and Patronage in Government

Errr... no. Don't touch me. Rape! Rape!laugh

Corruption, Bribery, Nepotism and Patronage in Government

We're paying this waster €150,000 + a year too.

Corruption, Bribery, Nepotism and Patronage in Government

Corrupt?

We're still paying this chancer over €150,000 a year... for the rest of his life. That's €3,000 a week.

Corruption, Bribery, Nepotism and Patronage in Government

Bribery, corruption, nepotism and patronage are major issues for those trying to do business in Statist Europe, says a European Commission anti-corruption report, which estimates corruption costs us €120,000,000,000 per year.

"... and then I told them we need more money to pay for ....."

RE: Universal Health Care (projected cost 1,600 euro per person)...

I heard 'The Minister For Health' say today on RTE that welfare recipients will have the cost of their 'Free Health Care' deducted from their weekly pensions/allowances. Ha ha ha

RE: Is History repeating itself?

Wars have been going on since States began. As long as there are States there will be wars. There are two things States are good at, stealing our money and killing people. No States, no wars.

RE: what is...

Oh yeah. Two red head lingerie models and a slow death in a car crash for her should do it. laugh

Hell, I fell better already just thinking about itlaugh

Who needs Dr Phil. I'm free. This is a changing day for me.yay

RE: what is...

Ah no, don't say that. I could never manage without my ex. I can't imagine how I would feel if I heard she died in a car crash. Espcially if it was a slow death. With maybe a bit of glass gouging into her eye as she bled out... slowly. No, that would be really awful. laugh

RE: what is...

to get the top hats up

RE: what is...

Oh yes. You need someplace warm so they feel comfortable in their pelt but most importantly you need a nice stiff cool breeze to the the top hats up.

RE: what is...

Well you did specify 'ideal' not an actual historic event. Some of those come close but I never did find a wallet full of the Tainhogse's money laugh

RE: what is...

No Snowy. I call it a 'redistribution of wealth'. See, it's not only the State can make up fancy terms for theft (tax) wink

RE: what is...

My ideal night out would start with me finding a wallet bulging with €200 notes and the name Eamon Gilmore on it. No problem keeping that wink

Then I run into a pair of red-headed nympho twins who are only in town for the night on their way home from a lingerie shoot in Monte Carlo. Did I mention they were lingerie models?

That's how it starts out anyway.....

Gender Pay Gap

Yes, you can always rely on me to call Feminist lies what they are. Facts on the other hand can not be disputed and I notice that you don't dispute them, instead choosing to ignore them. Standard.

Gender Pay Gap

I'm not sure why you posted that? Did you mean to give me a laugh or do you think it proves there is a 'gender pay gap? An article in the Indo, with no citations proving facts? Mmmmm, nah you musta meant to just give me a laugh.

The media is full of such lies but most are better told than the Indo. Look at this lie from RTE

"Women earn 17% less than men" they claim (these lies are spread on our tax money)

The FACT is that according to an OECD report, not some bunch of Feminists making up figures to suit their ideology, unmarried women earn 17% MORE than men. When they get married, have children and decide to stay at home the 'gap' starts to emerge. A gap in earnings, not pay. If you don't go to work you don't get paid. Sorry gals, that's not 'oppression'.

(This article cites it's source, which is the OECD report)

RE: Ireland v Italy

Do you mean real tickets or imaginary tickets? laugh

I've heard of a few imaginary tickets going around, they have "Italy v Ireland" written on them apparently. The real tickets have "Ireland V Italy" on them and they run anywhere from €150 to €175 for the stands. Where did our pal say his 'tickets' were for? Which stand? Upper or lower level?

RE: BREAKFAST ROLL...

Adios compadre
