I think you're both right. SF are in a nice position where they can champion all the popular stuff but didn't this bunch of crooks do the same thing a few years ago? Enda Kenny said it would be 'immoral' to have a property tax. Gilmor said they would not give a 'penny' to the bondholders. Then they went and did just that.
It's not the parties, it's the system. 'Electing' any bunch gives authority and implied consent for them to make whatever laws they choose, or rather whatever laws their bosses in the European Commission choose. The donkey is dead, don't pet it, shoot it.
So if James Reilly is right and welfare/pension recipients are going to have money stopped from their weekly payments to fund this new healtcare setup will the Government also be taking money from people's bank accounts to pay for it? Like they said they would do if we didn't pay the Property Tax?
Bribery, corruption, nepotism and patronage are major issues for those trying to do business in Statist Europe, says a European Commission anti-corruption report, which estimates corruption costs us €120,000,000,000 per year.
"... and then I told them we need more money to pay for ....."
I heard 'The Minister For Health' say today on RTE that welfare recipients will have the cost of their 'Free Health Care' deducted from their weekly pensions/allowances. Ha ha ha
Wars have been going on since States began. As long as there are States there will be wars. There are two things States are good at, stealing our money and killing people. No States, no wars.
Ah no, don't say that. I could never manage without my ex. I can't imagine how I would feel if I heard she died in a car crash. Espcially if it was a slow death. With maybe a bit of glass gouging into her eye as she bled out... slowly. No, that would be really awful.
Yes, you can always rely on me to call Feminist lies what they are. Facts on the other hand can not be disputed and I notice that you don't dispute them, instead choosing to ignore them. Standard.
I'm not sure why you posted that? Did you mean to give me a laugh or do you think it proves there is a 'gender pay gap? An article in the Indo, with no citations proving facts? Mmmmm, nah you musta meant to just give me a laugh.
The media is full of such lies but most are better told than the Indo. Look at this lie from RTE
"Women earn 17% less than men" they claim (these lies are spread on our tax money)
The FACT is that according to an OECD report, not some bunch of Feminists making up figures to suit their ideology, unmarried women earn 17% MORE than men. When they get married, have children and decide to stay at home the 'gap' starts to emerge. A gap in earnings, not pay. If you don't go to work you don't get paid. Sorry gals, that's not 'oppression'.
I've heard of a few imaginary tickets going around, they have "Italy v Ireland" written on them apparently. The real tickets have "Ireland V Italy" on them and they run anywhere from €150 to €175 for the stands. Where did our pal say his 'tickets' were for? Which stand? Upper or lower level?
Ah, I was only joking. I still live in the castle. Just me and some cats and of course the odd young wan from time to time. Strictly catch and release of course
Corruption, Bribery, Nepotism and Patronage in Government
