There were two men released recently in the UK after doing over a decade in jail because it was proved they were innocent. The police knew they were innocent. That has been happening here too.
Yes, that happens but all they are doing is exposing themselves as bitter liars. Block and move on. It's a bit different in our law courts where for too long the word of a woman has been taken without any supporting evidence apart from whatever hoax the prosecuting Gardai can cobble together to bamboozle a judge. As Modermen said, that's been costing innocent men their sanity, their liberty and in some cases their lives.

Irish people have the right to choose how they live their lives and have the same rights as English people. These rights have always been denied until relatively recently, and inequality sadly still exists. Irish people hat to fight for their rights in order to improve their lot in life, and if that means the fight has to be give a name so be it. Bear in mind though that the name can and most likely will be abused and misunderstood.
