I'm not sure about the hooking up bit. My criteria for mating does not include a political or religious questionnaire. If on the other hand you mean something more permanent then I agree. I think the only chance of long term happiness a young lad could have is with a woman who believes in something greater than herself and her intellect. Some of those pro-life women outside the Dail the other night were fine. You should get yourself down there the next time they are having a protest and start taking phone numbers.
Ok, that's the end of that pair. I don't mind giving people a bit of lattitude but they're not turning this thread into a litter box. As the man said, no loss.
This Aeroflot flight just took an irregular course to avoid US airspace en route to Cuba. That's unusual. Why would a flight from Moscow to Habana be avoiding US airspace?
If by 'just as I thought' you mean you've become tiresome and annoying, then you're right on the money. Don't you have some crochet to be doing dearie?
That's it exactly. I was left standing at the altar and that's why I started to rationally destroy the fallacious arguments of Feminists and laughing at unmanly men who try to get pats on the head from fat old bags for being their little poodles. Honestly, yourself and Virginia are so perceptive. But getting boring fast. Try to come up with some new material girls.
I think what you meant to say was "I'd like to imagine she left him standing at the alter, looking like a complete tool in front of his family, friends, relatives and neighbours. That would make my snivelly side tingle and I might even get a bit moist"
You met a right one. The ole 'my mother is sick' is a real loser's excuse. It's probably a cliche but you are better off that he didn't turn up. God knows what sort of a carnival a dufus like that would get you into.
Oh Snofri! You're here to concure with Virginia's concept. How wonderous. Are Giselle and Victoria coming too. We could all have tea and wear our best pinnies if Mistress allows
What you and the statist propaganda call 'assisted suicide' is in fact, according to Dignitas themselves, "indirect active euthanasia and passive euthanasia". Please note the euthanasia bit.
But you are correct that what you and Wikipedia call "active euthanasia", more correctly under Swiss law, "direct active euthanasia", is indeed illegal in Switzerland.
Your state does in fact allow euthanasia for other than "alturistic" reasons. Dignitas, who do the killing make a nice little profit from their dirty business before unceremoniously dumping the ashes in Lake Zurich.
Assisted Suicide is just a nice way to say euthanasia. "Assisted Termination" sounds better but that's already in use for the other type of killing.
Now, now, Linda is an esteemed historian and one of those whose teachings are fed to our young ladies and maginas when they attend Women's Studies courses.
I saw a trailor for a film where two women go off killing random dudes for fun. Hey, if it makes them happy and temporarily less bitter, sure go for it.
Hostel 2 has a couple of scenes where women are shown being killed. That's pretty rare.
I have a suggestion for the Air Corps. Reduce spending on uniforms and employ more female pilots because they are paid only 71% what a man is paid, according to Feminists. In fact, employ only women in the Defence Forces and that way we can reduce the payroll by 29%. And of course 'women can do any job a man can do, just as well' so there will be no difference in service. Why did nobody think of this sooner?
Some people say that a fetus has no rights over the woman carrying it because it is a parasite ("just a clump of cells that cannot live outside of it's host"). But the parents actively gave life to it without it's consent so it's not a parasite. The mother especially, because of the range of birth control available, cannot say, except in the most exceptional of circumstances, that a parasite trespassed into her body.
Some argue that since the 'clump of cells' as they call the foetus is not sentient until a certain stage of late development, that it is not a person and therefore does not deserve the innate natural right to not be aggressed against, i.e. not to be killed by violence. But if the right not to be aggressed against depended on sentience then how could we argue for animal rights or for the rights of those who lack sentience due to some condition like autism? Clearly the sentience argument does not hold unless they also agree that all 'untermensch' should be murdered, if they are of an inconvenience.
So is that it? Are healthy foetuses just the thin end of the wedge the State has planned? Will it be the mentally and physically challenged next? Then the elderly? Then those who are 'not producing enough' as George Bernard Shaw demanded?
