Way ahead of ya! That image flashed in my mind 0.013 of a second after I saw the pic. Good to know the ole Testosterone is still working. Many a man would cluck the rooster over that but I'm made of sterner stuff.
You're quite welcome. The same thing happened last week with a site offering 56" plasa TV's for €6. One guy bought about ten and wondered why they weren't delivered. He was very indignant Ha ha ha
"No contract will subsist between you and Eason & Son Ltd. for a sale to you of any product or service unless and until Eason & Son Ltd. accepts your order by e-mail confirming that it has dispatched your order."
That's their cover right there. Your order is only 'accepted' when the goods are dispatched. Any email sent to you before dispatch is pnly an acknowledgement of receipt and not an acceptance of the order.
No, there is no legal principle based on a 50% of cost price reduction that I know of. What I am saying is that your solicitor would have to argue that you reasonably expected the price to not be in error and the reduction is so much in your case that that is not even remotely plausible. The retailer can withdraw an item from sale if there has been an honest mistake in pricing. Come on, you did realise it was a mistake, right? Which would mean....
I'm just guessing most books are at least €10 these days, the cheap ones. What was the title, we can check on Amazon. Like I say, if the discount is obviously a mistake they can cancel. Anything up to 50% could be accepted but when you're into the 90%+ then no way Jose.
It needed hijacking. Take this thread to Tripoli and ... oh no, wait... no Ghadaffi.... take it to.... jaysis, where's a hijacker to go these days? I had high hopes when I hijacked this thread and now it's just a matter of waiting for the flash-bang and the SAS to come storming in.
I see from your pictures you have been practicing .... mmmmm. Why don't you all just form teams of two, male and female, a go robbing cars? You could see who gets the poshest cars? Drinks afterwards at the Hilltop in Knocknaheeney.
The ECB is giving €10 billion to Cyprus. But the ECB doens't have any assets so it just prints up the money, or digitally inputs it into a computer. How magical! We give these Statists the power to print our money... how stupid are we. Of course the money they are stealing form the Cypriots is real money. Money they worked hard for and saved. So the ECB is exchanging zero's and one's on a computer for their real property!!
The US Treasury Dept. / IMF called for a 40% money grab from all accounts in the EU soviet. It could happen yet. And if your thinking of taking out all your cash make sure it is in no bigger than €20 notes because they also talked about decomissioning all large notes as a 'once off'. They did that in Russia a few years back and caught a lot of people.
The funny thing is that the sheeple will continue to believe that the State protects our property and has our best interests at heart. Nothing could be further from the truth.
This is a classic bit of video with the Regulator, Patrick Neary, telling us that the banks are fine and that they will be able to cover their loans. I'd laugh but this guy should be in jail, not getting a six figure pension. And this was our most senior Civil Servant. Who still thinks we need a State to run our lives?
Did anyone hear that the EU is starting to steal money from our bank accounts? It's starting in Cyprus on Tuesday with 7-10% of savers money being stolen by the ECB. I wonder when they will start stealing money from Irish savers? They've been eyeing up the €100 billion on deposit here for a while now.
The Dublin Mint Office is currently leafleting people on the register of electors. This is not a mint office of the Irish State. It is a private company that produces literature that just happens to look quite official, especially to elderly people. I'm sure they do not intend to impersonate a genuine government mint office, it's just that some people might mininterpret the literature.
They are offering to send a 'gold layered' coin of Michael Collins for €9.95
It sounds like a good deal, if indeed the 'gold layered' coin is actually worth €9.95, which I doubt. However in only one place in their speil, on the part of the form you sign and return to them, is it stated
...as a future benefit, I will be sent further commemoratives in the Fight for Irish Freedom Collection to view on approval and without obligation, at approximately monthly intervals at the realease price of €39.95 (plus €5.95 P&P)
You are entering into a contract to 'view' several of these items at a cost to you of €46/month, if you buy.
Even if you return the monthly coins, and it does not state that these are even 'gold layered' like the first, you will still be liable for their €5.96 P+P and your own return postage costs, presumably registered and it doesn't say for how long that could continue.
In my opinion, even if you forfeit the €12 or so a month to return their 'coin' they will still be in profit as I would be of the opinion that their P+P charge will more than cover the cost of producing the 'coin' and any other costs associated with running their international business. It is all perfectly legal of course.

What's this witchcraft before me? Have I slipped into an alternate universe? You're actually agreeing with me? Now I will believe that there are unicorns...
RE: fed up of fake profile pictures ?
Indeed. From the right angle it might look like he was trying to suffocate a tomatoe.
