RE: Republicans kill prison officer ..

I think democracy is a scam.
I agree with killing in certain instances; politicians, feminists, social workers, etc
I'm not sure about prison officers. Are they an actual life-form to begin with? I mean, it might be like all this talk about stem-cells. They might just be a potential life form that would not exist without the life support assistance of the state (a bit like politicians, feminists and social workers)

Lick that profile baby! Lick it goodthumbs up

RE: Do you know what youre voting on in the Childrens RIghts Referendum?

Simian virus! Duh! Sorry Simeon, didn't meant to tell the world about your test results laugh

RE: Do you know what youre voting on in the Childrens RIghts Referendum?

Joan Burton once hinted that Child Benefit will be tied to vaccination records. There are a lot of schools in the U.S. that don't allow children who haven't been vaccinated to attend school, so it's reasonable to assume that will become the case here. But will a parent who doesn't vaccinate and thus allow their children to attend school be negligent and not acting in the 'best interests of the child', in the opinion of a social worker?

It's hard to know whether the E.U.Federation will go the route of forced vaccinations or forced adoptions in cases where parents object to having mercury and simeon virus shot into their children.

Oh noooooo! Not the blinged crosses.

RE: Name the village in the pic !

Very good Mantlin.

RE: Can someone explain what a Goth really is

I can't imagine the Goths and Emo's going at it with eye-liner pencils and a really pointy lip gloss laugh

Children's Referendum

But it didn't happen in Ireland. It happened in England where social workers are paid a bonus if their district grabs it's quota of children for adoption. I'm not saying it couldn't happen here because our social workers are just as useless as they are in England but if we want to help children we need to reform the system, not give it more power.

RE: Do you know what youre voting on in the Childrens RIghts Referendum?

Thanks for that. Waters is correct to say the 'best interests of the child' is to be set by a social workers subjective opinion.

Deirdre Clune = Fail!

Tanya Ward;

"Proportionate" means nothing because it is also built on the shifting sands of subjective opinions, not on fixed criteria

The "voice of the child" is again read to the court by a social worker based on an interview they had with the child. That is the case at present.

RE: Can someone explain what a Goth really is

It's only a fashion thing. The real Satanists wear suits and ties. Sometimes they wear clerical vestments. Emo is the new goth I think.

RE: Name the village in the pic !

I have no idea MADDOG but that river looks like it would be good for a few salmon.

RE: Name the village in the pic !

It's hard not to recognise Sinead, Niamh or Sorcha in her. Dad is a bit harder to see.

RE: Name the village in the pic !

Here's a village and a person. One may help you get the other. The village is in West Cork. It has two bridges. She is standing on the higher one, which has many arches and used to be a railway bridge. She is the image of her mother and her three aunts when they were younger and they are all famous actresses. Her daddy is an even more famous actor! Guess one and you'll have them all.

A lot of people have been having trouble with the recent changes in Yahoo. I sold my stock in Yahoo in August when it became obvious it was going to hell in a handbasket...

RE: what is the easiest musical instrument to learn

No, I didn'tlaugh

RE: Hierarchy

It's like the Patriarchy. People have 'a feeling' and they try to make believe it's the world that is giving them that feeling because of some imagined 'archy' oppressing them. It's easier to think that than to deal with their issues.

RE: what is the easiest musical instrument to learn

Easy as it may look, it seems to pose a problem for most women, although when you meet one who is an acomplished concert penist you will always give them a standing ovation. But please no clap!

Children's Referendum

I think families will be much more compliant to the will of the European Federation when there are so many excuses for removing their children to State 'care'. Will you be a bad parent if you don't pay your taxes? I see an old guy got 6 years in jail for that, so it must be serious. How about going to an anti-government protest? Surely that is the sign of a bad parent? Or being overweight yourself? Or denying Global Warming? What an awful moral influence on children religion may become. Do you smoke? Drink? Won't random drug testing be the norm for parents dropping off their children at school? And if you think any of those ideas are far-fetched just think back twenty years when people would laugh at you if you said the EEC was about creating a united states of Europe with one currency, one government and one army! Not too many people will be laughing in twenty years time... except at government approved jokes from their government approved homes in their plain eco-friendly grey uniforms!

RE: Food Poverty and Consequence.....

The other circumstances at play is what's called a mortgage. There was so much 'positive thinking' around a few years ago that people took out mortgages they could barely repay if both parents were working full time. Yes, that was stupid but I think that is why so many people are in trouble. Real trouble.

RE: Food Poverty and Consequence.....

Have you turned them into little manginas? Not to worry, the European Army has a place for all sorts but they may end up peeling potatoes and cleaning toilets laugh

RE: equality

There are specific women who have height restrictions for men. A couple of lads who are shorter have gone off about that before and made the same point he does about womens weight.

If you think of shorties like Al Pacino, Tom Cruise, Antonio Banderas, Tim Roth, James McEvoy, Mark Wahlberg, Robert Downey Jr., Cillian Murphy, Jason Stratham, Martin Sheen; most women would love to go out with those short guys but would men want obese women?

RE: Food Poverty and Consequence.....

Poor lads. They'll be off to the European Army so. They'd have been better off with a nice family in baden-wurttemberg.

RE: Baby making music

Something went horrible wrong there potsmuggler.

RE: Food Poverty and Consequence.....

Don't worry jimbo, as soon as we pass this Social Workers Referendum, the State will look after the children of any parents who are not able to supply them with what they need. I hear there are lots of German families looking for blue-eyed children to adopt.

RE: Travelling around Ireland

You'd love the area of Dublin between Baggot Street and Leeson Street via Lad Lane. Sure it's like a little bit of Prague on the Grand Canal
