Good one Face!To answer your question Fast I'm not particular religious about age and have made exceptions in the past but I generally prefer slightly older men. It's not the deciding factor for me though it does bear some influence in my choice of guy.

With regards to potentially having a serious relationship with someone I would probably have a 7 below, 10 above sort of age range. It all depends on the guy though and obviously at what point both of us are at or looking for.
Ive dated older and ive dated younger.
I wouldnt however be as limiting at only have a 5yr age range. even a 10yr one (5 younger 5 older) would rule out a lot of good men.

I wouldn't necessarily respond based on his profile. It would be based on his mail to me and his profile picture as to whether or not I'd respond, even at 5 years younger than me.

MermaidDreams: I can't speak for every other woman, only myself and while it's great reading a profile sometimes there's very little in it to read or too little to gauge his personality.
The opening mail is important to me because it's like the first impression and what he says/doesn't say is important to me too. I think using the term 'judge' a person through their opening mail is a bit strong; I'm not judging anyone. I'm merely focusing on whether or not the person mailing me deserves a reply!
