RE: Is the prophet Mohammed just a tad over sensitive?

Ha ha very funny. Jewish genetacists admit 80% of Jewry is non-Israelite and they claim the other 20% who are Sephardic i.e. Spanish/European can be traced back to Iraq. This is disputed and so far no actual evidence has been shown despite many years of great effort by the Israli government. It is crucial to the Jewish claim to be 'one superior race' that this be proven. Otherwise they are just a multi-racial religion of converts like all the other religions. Hence their 'special racial status' is gone.

RE: Breaking Bad Season 5

I thought Laura Fraser was excellent as uptight prissy b!tch Lydia. She does a great American accent for a Scot.

RE: Is the prophet Mohammed just a tad over sensitive?

The present day synagogue aren't the Israelites of old. They are Khazars who only converted to Judaism 1000 years ago. Not a drop of Israelite DNA in them. The funny thing is the Palestinians are Semites but the Israelis aren't and yet the Israelis kill the Palestinians (Semites) and call anyone who criticises them an 'anti-Semite'!

RE: Is the prophet Mohammed just a tad over sensitive?

It's the followers of the Synagogue of Satan that are the real problem but masters at getting the other two groups to fight each other.

RE: R.I.R.A. Funeral

You are saying that the PIRA got tired of fighting and/or was defeated. Fair enough but the political situation that was the justification for their war has not changed, i.e. the occupation of part of our nation by a foreign state. The justification for the struggle still exists today as it did before. The only way Sinn Fein/PIRA can condemn current republican militarists is if they admit there was never any justification for their own war and it was in totality a criminal campaign.

RE: Justice for the 96

Err...now that you mention it..... who presided over the entire thing?

RE: Is the prophet Mohammed just a tad over sensitive?

Do you have a reference for that?

RE: Is the prophet Mohammed just a tad over sensitive?

The toe of the Holy Saint Terese appeared to me in a dream and told me to kick Bishop Brennan up the hole! Toes are like that, bloody terrorists!

RE: R.I.R.A. Funeral

There are still 6 counties in British hands. If I recall Republicanism is about a 32 Country Ireland. At least that's what Sinn Fein used to stand for or said they stood for. What has changed?

RE: Is the prophet Mohammed just a tad over sensitive?

Are you talking about the American ambassador Stevens and the three CIA agents in Benghazi? Probably not so much to do with religion as politics I'd say. Which newspaper controlled by that other medieval middle eastern religion did you read that in?

RE: your health is your wealth

Love the new band Pedro. You're handy on that stratocaster

RE: R.I.R.A. Funeral

I've heard that on the Army Council level the ratio was bit higher than 1 in 4 wow

RE: R.I.R.A. Funeral

I know. It's like terrorism in plain sight, in a nice suit (we paid for).

RE: R.I.R.A. Funeral

Yeah, I heard that too. The Gardai were pulled off him just before the killers arrived. It's the same as the day young Breathnach shot Martin Cahill dead. Republicans have always had a section run by Garda Special Branch south of the border.

RE: R.I.R.A. Funeral

I hear he terrorised a few drug dealers? Is that terrorism? How about Minister James Reilly and his cuts to hospitals? Now that will hurt decent people.

RE: R.I.R.A. Funeral

But the Labour Party and Fine Gael are the real terrorists. Every day they are freaking people out and causing fear in the population, that's terrorism.

RE: R.I.R.A. Funeral

I never heard of that guy. He didn't terrorise me. I'll tell you that IMF gang and the crew in Leinster House terrorise people every day with their rumours and stories about how much they are going to steal off us in the next budget.

RE: R.I.R.A. Funeral

If the Gardai want to sort out the terrorists they so go up to Leinster House and drag out Gilmore, Quinn, Rabbitt and Burton, beat them to dead and stick their heads on the railings. That might send a message to the terrorists. laugh

RE: Breaking Bad Season 5

The bad news it there won't be a series five episode nine until next summer mumbling

If you need something similar but much better in the meantime then check out "Underbelly". There are five seasons of that too - 13 episodes in each one. It's the true story of Australia's crime gang. Really good!

(TV_series)

As for Breaking Bad I think Hank is going to get the contents of the little file Walter has hidden in the wall socket. Whatcha think?

RE: Why Does God Give You Comfort?

Comfort? I think a great many people who believed in the divine lived and died in great discomfort. Quite often at the hands of other 'believers' in a strange ideology from an old Jewish Book (Das Kaptial). It's a very Catholic explanation for the existence of a Church to say it brings comfort to people. Don't waste your life reacting against the Catholic Church. It does not have a monopoly on God and some say, like many Christian denominations, it has no connection to God at all.

It's more a question of why are some people able to conceive of a world beyond the as yet discovered 'reality' in which we live. It is much more 'comforting' to think we understand everthing. We can then sneer and throw snide comments at those who believe in "God" with the complete confidence that we are right and they are just superstitious little children.

What if in experiencing non-ordinary states of consciousness through one of the many techniques available to humanity today someone was to become aware that the Universe/Existence contained much more than their puny human physical organs of perception had previously revealed to them? How would they react to that? Would they fear it and run back to scientific explanations to show how their perception had been an aberration or would they look further to try and understand and perhaps become wiser? Or would they seek comfort in a Dawkinish role as a cliche spouting automaton and isn't that a rather sad caricature of a human being?

"Seek and ye shall find" the Christians say. But if you don't seek you will never find anything even if you are sitting on it. To explain air to a person in a still room you must get them to move their hand swiftly so they can feel it rush past their skin. Otherwise they would sit and sneer and laugh at a fool who believes in it. Sit still and you will perceive nothing, know nothing and achieve nothing in your life.

RE: anyone sunbathe today

It's funny to see parents protecting their children from the sun when we have been living under it for millions of years. Why? Becuase some doctors say it causes skin cancer. I also see some doctors say it prevents skin cancer and a whole range of diseases. I wonder which group is correct. The sunscreen racket must be happy with the 'fear-the-sun' group. Then there are doctors who have worries about the sunscreen causing cancer....

RE: Would you become a Christian for a chance at Katie Taylor?

Whatever floats your boat. I just find her too masculine. Did you see that Vera Jordanova in Hostel 2. Oh Holy Mother of God!!!!

One Flew out of These Nests

Yes, Lange understood that ‘madness’ was often caused by society and a toxic family. The other psychiatrist in the vid who was talking about patching up a patient so that the family would be happy with them was typical of psychiatry at the time. I don’t think they are any smarter now, they are just more cautious about being sued.

In Ireland we had Ivor Browne, who did great work, fair play to him.

Did you see ‘Behind the walls” RTE documentary?

Belmont Park in Waterford is mentioned MADDOG and a very evil man there, Dr Lane O’Kelly

RE: What can we really do to curb Binge drinking

It seems to be a very British thing to take you children to Portugal and abandon them while going drinking. At least this one was found before it had a nasty fall off the back of a sofa like Maddie McCann.

RE: Would you become a Christian for a chance at Katie Taylor?

I don't know what people are on about, she's not even good looking.

RE: Would you become a Christian for a chance at Katie Taylor?

I think if she had said she was a suicide bomber there would have been a rush for the exits

RE: What can we really do to curb Binge drinking

More Laws!

Oh Lord God of Socialism give us more laws

We need more regulation and inspection

Licencing and controls

Give us today or daily supervision

And lead us not into free thinking

RE: is there a fine line between madness and genius?

And of course the opposite is also often true. People who are revered as wise and respected and leaders are often later found out to be charlatans and moronic fools.
