If anything men are better when you take in the times (like last night) when women's hormones seem to put them into a spin. For instance air traffic control is an area which requires multitasking and men excel in that field. Christians have an idea of the soul which they were given as young children about the time they learned about the tooth fairy and Santa Clause: not a very mature concept. So they reject that childish idea of a black stained urn in their chest when they grow up and never take the time to study the mind sciences or experience any level of their own consciousness other than their normal waking state and drunkeness.
There is also gender discrimination in the UK with regard to the State Pension. Women get the pension at 60 but men must wait until they are 65. This gives the average man 11 years and women 21 years of pension until they die. This has been the case for 62 years. Thankfully the pension age will be equal in 2020. Men are living longer and women are dying younger thanks to their liberated lifestyles so in another decade a woman can look forward to about the same amount of retirement time as a man. Yay for equality! But what about the gender discrimination taking place today? Isn't everyone awfully quiet about it? It's almost like it doesn't count if it's men who are the 'victims'.
I think what you need to understand is how Feminists define themselves not how outsides define them. Feminist ideology holds that society is a Patriarchy set up by men for the benefit of men. All men are oppressors and all women are oppressed. That's what they believe.
If Feminists were truly into equality and freedom they would support those things for all people, not just for women. What they are preaching is supremacism, not equality. Men were also oppressed and denied the vote by the ruling class (which was half female) for a long time. The Penal Laws denied all Catholics the vote or even the right to own a horse. Shouldn't Catholics make protestants give them half their land then? Give us seats on all the Societies and Boards they run thanks to their aristocracy? They oppressed us, right? What do we call people who go on about the Oppressive English Invaders? Backward, bitter? That's what feminists are. Trying to justify their supremacism by saying that at one time in history for a few decades, they were oppressed. Like when their husbands went off to die in WW1 by the millions and when men died of black lung digging out coal, women were oppressed in the kitchen then, right? .... baking bread. So we should have quota's for immigrants, travellers, disabled, gays and women in the Dail and anywhere else there are good paying jobs to be had? How about we save them a few job in the coal mining, refuse collection and all the other less well-paid dirty jobs that men do? I don't see women complaining that they are not equally represented in those jobs. There's no obstacle to any person applying for and if they are qualified getting any job they want nowadays and there hasn't been for many decades. Look at Maire Geoghegan-Quinn, a big useless lump sitting in a €300k a year job in Europe just because there was a quota and she had the right genetalia! How is that 'helping women'? Her job is to "significant role stimulating economic growth across Europe" so I guess she's done a good job there
