RE: the Eletric chair

Yeah, apparently that's what they do with unwanted pets. They get so many days in the pound and then it's old sparky!

RE: Eyebrows

Yes, but in the morning when she is still asleep I would give her a ninja waxing.

RE: Ears Nostalgia...with a difference..

@Phoenix Have you heard David Allen Coe's version of Pledging my Love? It reminds me of Johnny Ace's version laugh

RE: Ears Nostalgia...with a difference..

This song was everywhere in France when the Siege of Sarajevo was being broken at the end of 1994. The "life without you" line always makes me think of the little faces that never made it out alive. The thousands of faces. Forgive the poor translation.

"Turning rivers, carrying loads, crossing seas, I know how to do that. Defying machines, breaking laws, the wrath of God doesn't frighten me. I know how to take a blow and give one too. I learned how to drive nails. I'm not a victim, I'm not dove and for someone to break me I must fall. I know winters, I know the cold but life without you I don't know. I've known silence for a long time, I know violence, it’s taste of blood, red rages and dark pain. I know these wars, I'm not afraid of them. I know how to defend myself, I learned well. Battle after battle, worse and worse. Every minute, I thought I could hold on. I would like to learn day after day. But who commands our love?"

RE: Classic TV shows...

I don't think anyone got it except maybe the older kids who had discovered that strange plant their dad was growing at the bottom of the garden laugh

RE: Classic TV shows...

Yeah that was good too.

RE: Loving Someone and Being IN Love With Someone...

My most heartfelt apologies Phoenix. In future I will seek to redress my utterances and verbal illustrations but as for any statement containing sentiments of, on or about love, well surely even Mephistopheles himself would not expect brevity in regard to matters of the hearts compulsion. What waterfall could quench the wretch so enflamed?

Ha ha. Ok I'll cut the crap laugh

RE: Loving Someone and Being IN Love With Someone...

They make a desert, they call it peace

Tacitus meant a different desert but perhaps a kind of Freudian association is a play?

RE: Is forty is the New 20 for having babies???

Young people don't 'see the world'. They stop off here and there and get drunk then post their stupid duck-faced pictures online. Their brains are too immature to appreciate the experience like an older person would. I understand young women are brainwashed into thinking they must 'see the world' and not get 'stuck at home' but those are both lies to control them into the workforce. There's nothing to stop a woman having children young, going to college and getting a job later and still work 25 or 30 years if she wants.

Desperate overweight alcoholic middle-aged women trying to get pregnant in their 30's or 40's when their eggs are going off and their bodies are full of toxins is really sad. That's when they realise they were lied to.

After 35 the risk to the child of miscarriage, birth defects like down syndrome and stillbirths are much higher. The risks to the mother are greater too including diabetes and high blood pressure not to mention the side effects of fertility drugs which she may have to take because the eggs she is ovulating are so darn old.

RE: looking for
