I'm against the death penalty. Too many innocent people have been pardoned after they've been killed by chair, injection..hanging.
If they are guilty of a serious crime (against kids, murder etc). Simply lock them up for life in solitary on a diet of bread and water.

I disagree and agree with this post. The death penalty is a deterrent measure. There has to be a punishment. They are not put in solitary with bread and water. They are housed with the best of conditions, go to therapy and find out how their troubled childhood made them mug and murder old people. Don't forget we were only saying yesterday that we hoped yer man Brady died roaring. His prison psychologists are now saying that if he was hugged more as a child, he would have been a grand fella. Him and Hindley should have got the death penalty - the only reason their execution should have been stopped was if they passed out from the pain, we should revive them a bit to kill them again.If they are guilty of a serious crime (against kids, murder etc).
