Hiroshima, Nagasaki

500,000 children under the age of 5 killed in Iraq due to UN sanctions.
They said it was 'worth it' to stop Saddam getting weapons of mass destruction (1996) then a few years later they lied and said he had WMD's and went in and killed another couple of million. Hold on, I think I see a pattern here....

Hiroshima, Nagasaki

It could have been ended without the mass murder of civilians. One of those bombs dropped on a deserted island would have sent the same message to all and sundry. But it's like when the Brits firebombed Dresden after the war was over and waited until all the first responders had rushed into the city from all over Germany to tend to the wounded before they carpet bombed it. No need for it. Just pure psychopathic bloodlust.

RE: Rip of republic

A bit of a dog, was she?

RE: The hapiness of men.

Yes, there were always confirmed batchelors but for most men marriage was necessary to advance their career and social life. People just didn't trust single men with responsible jobs unless they knew they were 'tied down'. I guess today people are tied down by other means.

It's all very well that we men are enjoying the single life and I do appreciate being happy but for society it is surely a disaster for which future generations will pay.

Hiroshima, Nagasaki

After firebombing many Japanese cities the American Government dropped two atomic bombs on Hiroshima (August 6th) and Nagasaki (August 9th)1945 - 68 years ago this week.

They murdered between 150,000 and 246,000 civilians. Some took weeks to die.

Rob his pockets?

RE: new engine

Sometimes the best thing is to shoot the poor beast and put it out of it's misery.

RE: The hapiness of men.

Men are indeed much happier on their own. The single blokes probably don't believe that. The freedom to do what you want when you want is just amazing. I really love it. I know single women are free to do that too but I think most if not all of them really yearn for company. Men are wired differently.

RE: worst date

I think the lad who went to meet the brazer in Cavan is going to win this thread.

Anti-Feminism; The Radical Notion That Feminists are Insane

I heard about the batchelor tax. Men already pay most of the tax and receive the least amount of benefits. What's new? A good point Dr Warren Farrell often makes is that it's more significant who the money is spent on than who earns it. When women earn money they spend 80% of it on themselves. When men earn money they spend 80% of it on the girlfriends, wives and families.

There's studies to back that up but it's late and I'm off to feed the bed bugs

RE: check out who has made the most threads on CS...LOL

That's a good synopsis but you didn't say anthing about God, Jesus, getting drunk, cars, and the weather. That reminds me of a country and western song....

RE: Dublin Bus

We'll all have our very own private bus in his Utopia.

Not merging threads or anything ... but I did notice that anti property tax activists blocked the Labour bus at this years gay pride parade. They should be proud of that. The Labradors had to take down their banner before they were allowed progress but Komrade Millionaire's face was still ever watchful, like big brother, as the bus moved on. Very funny. You'll want to skip on to 04:15 to see it

Anti-Feminism; The Radical Notion That Feminists are Insane

It's true to say that Feminism has not just harmed women but society in gerenal, men included. And don't forget children, especially boys. And to what end? Well, they're not really sure. At some point I suppose they believe women will become happier even though all the studies show them becoming less satisfied with their lives.

The Japanese 'grass-eaters' don't get much media attention. Society depends on men working hard, building, earning and of course paying taxes, so any group avoiding that is not going to get much press. There is a fantastic book by Helen Smith, just published, on that topic

Have a break, have a Kit Cat!

RE: N.C.T

So, how did you get on?

RE: would u like to marry in life?

Anyone who thinks of getting married a thrid time should be committed

RE: Social Liberalism

That's funny.

RE: UK/Irish - Jordanian relationship

All he has to do is get on a plane to Ireland, tear up his Jordanian passport, and seek asylum as a refugee from Syria when he gets to the immigration checkpoint. That's what all the Jordanians have been doing since they stopped claiming they were refugees from Iraq.

RE: Social Liberalism

I know I live on the territory they have claim to. I know they have the guns. I know they have a monopoly on violence. I know if I go up against them hard enough they will kill me. But that doesn't mean I don't have the ability to recognise a criminal gang when I see it. Fancy suits, PR men and a State broadcaster doesn't fool me hun. They're just a bunch of crooks.

RE: Social Liberalism

And I trust them implicitly. Don't you? Such nice, caring, selfless and wise people laugh

RE: Social Liberalism

Except those of us who don't want to be part of their society. Where's our 'democracy'? I don't want to give them my money but they threaten men that they will kidnap me, steal my property and lock me in a cage if I don't give it to them. How is that 'equality' for me? They steal my money to give it to Bertie Ahern and to spend on their government jet? It seems like this democracy thing has winners and losers.

Some animals are more equal than others

RE: comment here if you would to help get rid of the stigma of mental illness

Yes, psychiatry is pure witch-doctery. You can't get an X-ray of depression and no lab test has ever confirmed a 'chemical imbalance'. No diagnosis = no treatment in every area but psychiatry where the 'experts' can diagnose from a checklist??? Very 'Scientific' indeed.

RE: Social Liberalism

Democracy really has a price for the 49% who don't agree with the brainwashes 51% that their money should be given to people like this. Democracy is two foxes and a rabbit voting on what's for dinner.
