Karn1: Only if you're very good and eat all the wrong things, don't exercise drink gallons of full fat milk and coke (not the diet variety)then complain about the state not giving you enough to cover your €300 a week food bill

try 30 a week, and 15 of thats veg...(there were better times)
just got into 'blending and smoothies', home made soups, full, nourishing, and apart from the crop sprays, insecticides and genetic modifications, it couldnt be healthier or more ugly looking (ever used bullion?)....

kidatheart: It's sad, but it usually refelcts more about the person using the derogotory language than it does the one it's aimed at.

Seems as of late, the site is more for people crapping on each someone than anything else.

IN what way does it reflect on me, now, H?

mr1983: He's just a big a waster!! Wards of the state. And what kind of example do they set for their kids? At least half the kids will grow up and continue to be wards of the state too!! This is what a crazy doctrine like social liberalism leads to. It all sounds nice and dandy but the reality is it creates lazy, unproductive wasters!

so what is your point?

should we pity them?

support them?

hate them?

I am just glad it is not my life, I would say they have it very tough and I would rather pay my way and pay for my home...but that is just me!

I have no problem with people who want to live their lives the way this couple are doing.

MADDOG69: Remember kids, there's no point having just one baby..... have two. Quickly. You'll get a house quicker that way.

mr1983: I'd be ashamed of my life to go into the council to ask for a free house. I know some people will need to because of bad circumstances but those people will always try to better themselves. Go into any council state in this country now and at least half the people living there will never even try to make anything of themselves. Sad the way things have went!

actually that is the way things have always been in any country that has social welfare.

Some work, some don't.

Breaking that cycle is difficult, but then so is finding a job these days!

And then keep having them! Get depressed, because you have too many kids and because your free house, food, clothes, school, money, beer is not enough! DEMAND more! How are you expected to live?? Come on Nanny government, I have a right to this! Raise taxes!! Vote labour!!

mr1983: I do have a problem with the way people like them want to live their lives. I have absolutely no problem supporting people who fall on hard times and need a lift to get going again! But these people are the scum of the earth. They will never better themselves! I don't want to support wasters.

well you live in a welfare state
you work (a nice job I see, and accountant!)
so you pay for these people's life style choices
nothing you can do about it really

putting up videos and news links etc and hating them still does not get away from the fact that you enable them live the way they want to.

or are you just venting????? confused

mr1983: I hopefully won't be in this country in a couple of years! Of course I'm venting! And of course I can do something about it. I can complain and vent about it. And highlight it. When enough people realise what is actually going on, it will be changed. It is on that road now!! The welfare state in European countries are falling apart. Supporting c--ts like these. That would break any country!

People do realise its going on, its been going on for a couple of generations now, nothing new in people who dont want to work for a living.

Is it right, no, but it certainly isnt anything new.

why would you use a word that is derogatory to women only to describe this couple and their children?

you are educated, surely you have a better vocabulary than this? dunno

The last 20 years have seen a real explosion in it! What I find amazing is that when this country was creating hundreds of thousands of jobs a year, there was a constant 200,000 people unemployed. And what did social liberalist policy advocate? Increase social security!!laugh And what have we now?? A European system that is broke!! People can blame banks and what ever they want! The simple fact is for the last few years our country was spending tens of billions each year to support people like these. The banks cost us 60-80 billion!! We are constantly getting reductions in that amount! 30 billion might even be wiped off! Why will we have a 150-200 billion euro debt burden?? One of the main reasons is public service and social security!! Absolute nonsense!!ireland

mr1983: It will take years to solve over there! But it will drive people to try to make themselves better! There is nothing in this world that will drive a person more than hunger! If you are starving you will find something to do! Once you start doing it, you will want to do better.
There will be no disaster in Spain. Their sense of entitlement has been crushed! In 20 years if they keep it up they will be flying again!

Thats doesnt mean it will be something that will benefit the Country or the population, dont desperate times call for desperate measures? So what does a parent desperate to feed there children resort to?

I've never advocated not helping people who need support because they fall on hard times. I've advocated a stop to the nonsense welfare state.
In answer to your question, the first thing they should do is not bring another child into the world if they can't support them. The idea that contraceptives aren't working is nonsense. It is time for personal responsibility. If a woman find themselves in the situation where she is a single mother, there is still a father. It is his child too. Get him to support the child. If she finds herself in a dreadful situation where she is alone with a child, the experience of been hungry will motivate her to learn a valuable lesson. With the system we have here now, there is quite a few(I'm not saying all) who will be out this weekend. And they could very likely jump into bed with some random fella. And the state will still support more children. Where is the lesson in all that?? Personal responsibility has decreased in the last thirty years because the state has stepped in to care for what are wards of the state! Time to cut that sh-t out!

Perhaps but it wont put food on the table. You have advocated a system similar to Spain where SW stops after 18mths, children dont stop needing to be fed a clothed after mths.
