Too late mate. I think I met her last week. Have another date this week but it's not the depth that gets you, it's the width. Still, we have to soldier on. No room for whimps around here. All those positions are filled
I have a great idea. It just came to me. He died from heroin, so I think ..... wait for it, this is a great idea.... we should make heroin illegal. Whatcha think of that? Like totally criminalise it, even small amounts. For larger amounts we could lock people up for years and years in prison. Maybe spend billions on cops and customs and all the surveillance but sure it would be worth it to stamp out heroin use. Now I know some people will say that this will only create criminal gangs who will make fortunes off selling heroin and that these gangs will have so much money they will start buying guns and shooting people but there's an easy answer to that .... we get more cops with guns. Yeah, it's expensive, but I'm sure nobody would mind paying €1000 a year in taxes to get rid of heroin, right?
How funny it seems to see all those windmills turned off for much of the winter because the wind is too strong.
The giant variety the eco-gang have afflicted Ireland with are not at all suitable for this sort of wind. They can't even get a medieval technology functioning correctly
I would like to expand the topic in this response to take a more modern look at our options. First of all we have plenty of fossil fuel to last a long long time, so there is no panic there except for the eco-nuts who think that using coal, oil and gas is going to make the world go on fire. Secondly we need to understand that with the recent discovery of graphene our energy acquisition and supply is going to be totally unrecognisable in a couple of decades.
A thread of graphene one atom thick can conduct more electricity than that most powerful supply line on earth. It is stronger than any other substance yet discovered and is cheap and common. We can built 'elevators' into space and download unlimited free electricity from the upper athmosphere, if the current global gangs (governments) allow it. This is what we can have in a decade or two and yet here we are like idiots spending our time and energy building medieval windmills that don't even work
We really need to think about why we are so unable to think and what is wrong with out minds that we cling to the familiar even when it is clearly due for the bin.
I hope it does. I'd take my chance with the rats to get control of it. They say it's worth a half a million but it's worth a lot more.
Come on you rats. I've survived chuckin' out time in Cubins, what's a bunch of hungry rats to a lad like me
I'd say it's long gone well north of us. Some lucky Russia fisherman will get it I reckon. They're only saying it's full of staving rats to keep people off it. First one on board is the owner
Go to Edit Profile above the box for Website Search on the top right hand side of this page. Then go to Edit Profile on the left of the next page and Edit Profile again, just under that. In Edit Profile; my basics the top left window is Seeking. That has a drop down menu where you will find Friends/Hand Out
There could be snow alright. Everytime there is a strong westerly swell we usually get a few bricks of the Peruvian marching powder on the beach the next day.
Here's a pic from 21:50 hrs tonight. Five minutes ago. It's pretty strong and travelling slowly. By my estimates it should be hitting the west coast in about 4-6 hrs. The green circle has a wind speed reading of 130 kph. That's up there with the bad one from a few weeks ago. Sure all the weak trees should be down by now anyway. Just watch it on the bicycle because tomorrow will be stormy up your way.
Take a mobile phone you no longer use and charge it up, turn it off and put it somewhere hidden in the car - inside a door or under the dash, for instance, but somewhere where it won't be found even if they start to strip the car. Keep a note of the number and if the car is ever stolen give the number to the police and tell them the phone is in the car. They'll locate the phone in about 5 minutes.
P.S. It's not only the cops can track mobile phones but in the case of a stolen car it's best you call them.
