I find that this question arises in all aspects of daily life, but in my opinion, the hierarchy only exists in the minds of the weak and the bullies.

It's like the Patriarchy. People have 'a feeling' and they try to make believe it's the world that is giving them that feeling because of some imagined 'archy' oppressing them. It's easier to think that than to deal with their issues.

Would not put it quite like that but certainly hierarchy on the threads only exists if you allow it to by one's responses on the threads.
