Here in southern part of Germany Santa already comes on 6th december.
We name him "Nikolaus" and he is not only a beardy old man in a red robe, he also has absolute knowledge about childrens behaviour (written down in a golden book)!
It´s always a bit scary to meet him and his servant "Knecht Ruprecht", who carries a willow´s whip to punish bad kids
, while the good get small presents from Nikolaus himself.
