belushi thats been happening to me for months, whether im on the uk or main forums. for about 3 months the mailbox hasnt been showing up in red so i only find my messages by checking them every 5 minutes

This happens to me too. Someone will mention the email they sent me, but because I didn't receive a notification, I don't know it is there. And then I will go to my mailbox, and there it is.

I been getting phantom emails and flowers.
The menu will light up red and I get all excited then when I check theres nothing there

When I log into any other forum, apart from the main one, I do not get notification of any flowers or mails.
Even now, I have answered my mails and responded to my flowers, and there is still a notification that I have Flowers.
It seems I am not the only one. I sent a flower and the recipient only found it by accident. No notification appeared on his screen.
