in the garden of my heart.
I cherished it lovingly
like a mother for its child.
I tried to nurish it
helping it to grow.
I gave it some of my love
and tried to remove the weeds
around it so that ir
could be strong and tall.
I tried to comfort it
by protecting it
when the strong winds
did blow.
It is so important
to me for a part
of me it is.
I tried never try
give up on it
and made the ground
around soft without
hurting it's root.
I gave it all my love
and felt love in return.
