Why are you glad most of the cases have been thrown out?

Why do you hope the remaining ones are thrown out, too?

Im not sure what the remaining cases are tbh, so I'll reserve my judgement on those. The reason I'm pleased is simple. Around the 70s 80s, women at work, , Especially in factories where very predatory, more so than men. I was chatting to my brother who was regularly subjected to it at 15 by women in their 30s snd 40s.. he laughed it off at the time.. he cant remember how many times women workers shoved their hands down his trousers. ..That was the culture then, it wasnt taken seriously by anyone. Including those it happend to. If you want to jail everyone who'd behaved like DLT back then you'll need a very large prison just to house many a grandmother from around these parts.

rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing don't know about hands down trouser bitrolling on the floor laughing But I do remember girls fainting because they had managed to touch a star. That is why the now have body guards and after gigs disappear out back door.
How after all these years can anyone prove anything.
This kind of case is detrimental to todays cases which can be proven.
This man has gone through hell lost his house etc for what the women who accused are sheilded when they should be had up for lying.
The only people to benefit here are lawyers.
I feel sorry for this happening today it is a look do not touch culture we live in now to the extent my father who is now dead said he did not want to be on a swing with his grandson while I went shopping in case he was accused.
Sad world that when a grandfather is frightened to be alone with grandchild.

He's back in court to be tried on the 2 charges the jury couldn't agree on.

Seems the Jimmy Savile case sparked an avalanche of false allegations against different celebrities and I do believe there are people capable of making vicious allegations for monetary gain. That's the type of world we live in.

I feel sorry for him as he appears innocent and suffering too much because of those damn allegations. I guess we have to wait and see.

Yes at one time law seemed to be sitting on bumsmumbling
Now they just seem to bring ridiculous charges costing us a lot of money for cases that are dumb. Is it because they knew about saville and dismissed claims now they want to be seen to do something.moping
