I will be with my 2 children and family during the holidays. This year will be a sentimental one as my mom is sick with cancer so for all of us we want to make the most of the times we can spend with her.
What I normaly suggest for those who are alone at this time of the year is to volunteer at your nearest homeless shelters, women's shelters, children's hospitals etc..Any organization or charity that will bring you around others and by doing something for someone will help keep you distracted from being alone and the typical holiday blues that come with it.

I spent last Christmas alone....away from my family.....I think that was the loneliest time of my life, my advice, beg borrow or steal but get to people that love you because thats what its all about
