I think a lot of people haven't figured out what they are passionate about, they are just going through the motions.
You're right... going through life day to day surviving but not truly living. Thoreau wrote that "the mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation".
For me, rethinking spirituality makes me feel like I've just awakened... with a whole new life ahead of me. I'm all over the map searching, which is a bit nuts, but there's so much to encounter, consider, discard, revist, debate, evaluate... I can't help but be keyed up.

before my daughter I wasnt much passionate about anything..but knowing her and loving her and losing her i have gained the most wonderful passion of all(in my opinion) Life, Today, right now. Its all I live for because we are never guarenteed tomorrow....

Don't tell me what you are passionate about today, here and now. Think for as long as you like and post what you realize you should be passionate about. Then take the first step towards doing just that.
