Ipad users? musical apps? Video Apps? (9)

It is free but this one you can really dump a lot of cash into, unlike many that are free or under 10 - 30 dollars usd. There are important things to take into consideration. If Anyone is interested this could potentially be a great way to pass the time while your dream date comes along!!

This App is played without a keyboard making the Ipad the only thing needed to create your own music and ideas.
Of course you can also use it as a part of a larger piece. I was watching some one use it to create the percussion tracks for their song.
Pretty cool for what i last checked was only 10 USD.

I have really been enjoying this new platform for making music and just having fun. Evidently this is not so popular with many if any member here as this is definitely a "skeleton" of a thread.
Many sales as low as 1 dollar for many apps and some free...others launching new updates with everything from vocal harmony processing to apps for finalizing your track or cd type tools for less than 10 or even 5 dollars. Of course the apps do ad up but even after a few weeks or a month I have not spent more than 100 dollars of even half that......probably somewhere in between. I thought it would be fun to play with and got this one for a dollar today.
At the beginning of this video they are using a program called "audiobus" which is on sale for a buck! wow....I already have it..paid 5 bucks I think. In the video you see them open up a track with some kind of vocal then they open "Improvox" which will Auto tune if you wish....just like many of the songs out there on the radio and it also allows you to add effects like the sound of being in a hall or repeating....actually quite a bit for so little coins. I found a used Ipad 2 though I would suggest getting an Ipad 4 or better but hey,, I am happy with this one for now. It was less than 200 dollars and with these apps if you were buying them for a computer other than the ipad it would cost hundreds of dollars and still not be so portable....many people that already have an iphone 4 or even better a 5 are already to take advantage of all these cool apps if you are remotely into singing in the shower or want to play some cool sounds they have for keyboard and even ways of making the sound by using the touch screen as a way of producing very cool melodies and then saving them.

the best of the modern world - and music to our ears..... that is of course if you are a gifted musician and can make music.

All kinds of great tools for making music on the Ipad. Some friction with the release of ios 8 but it seems that if you have a newer Ipad you can mess with 8 and if you are like me with an older (ipad 2) you just leave it at ios 7.1.2. If anyone gets curious and wants to know more about it just let me know by posting something here.

This one is still on sale for 2 usd and an extra dollar if you want the sound editor. I thought it was pretty innovative and very inventive app.
Here is another one that is a couple bucks...not the best ones I have seen but there are so many it seems like there is something for everyone.

I have no way to post a "player" here for Soundcloud but you are welcome to paste the link and listen to the song I made a few weeks back.

here is a free app. (for now) it is pretty basic..works on ipad and iphone. It makes sounds. LOL...sine wave, sawtooth wave and so on. I just tried it out and it is probably not something you will make a song with but it is entertaining to see what sounds you get by moving your fingers across the touch screen. I hope that it amuses you. (those that like this kind of thing) here is a link..if you are using separate devices than search for it from your app store. It is there..you might have to uncheck where it says "ipad only".

How about people that really just love to listen to music and don't we all?? Here is an app that you can get for free right now. It will tell you what the name of the song is that is playing! It does not even have to be on the same device. I just played a "Blondie" video on my laptop and the ipad (which is sitting close enough to hear the other..no cords) after about 2 seconds it showed the name of the song and a album cover. Now I wish I could just listen to anything and know what it is...I am a bit skeptical that it will know every song.....but who is to say? and free is free, LOL. here is the link.

I don't know if you will see this here or even want it. But it is free for now. it is "Peach" That is a link or you could go to your app store and type in "Peach" without the quotes I think. LOL....I have no idea what it does, but it must do something good being a Peach.
