KremaP: If your partner is not capable of making some kind of living on his own and becomes a financial burden to you I don't believe you will respect him as much as if he was bringing some money home. Can you love someone you have no respect for?! And I am not speaking of a short period employment troubles...
So what would you do theoretically if your partner was injured in an accident and lost the ability to earn an income, does the overriding consideration become the financial aspects of the relationship or the love you have for your partner, and is your concept of respect centred on his ability to make money?
