I found out that it was the fact that I have children that was the main problem for him. That hasn't changed I still have children. Apparently he's seen the error of his ways. He told me that he regrets hurting me and that he misses how I'm always happy with life. He tells me that I was the best damn woman he's ever had and he can't say he's sorry enough for hurting me. I never thought that phone call would ever come, and now that it has I feel alot differently than I thought I would.

I honestly think I have. We talked for an hour on the phone and I learned one of the problems besides distance. I also learned that he doesn't have a hold on my heart anymore. It was quite the realization. I guess it took talking to him to realize that.

Sounds like he grew up a little too late. He still has growing to do, he is having trouble moving on as you have put him in the past. The future is where you are looking and he is only starting to work on the past. I wishing this Christmas that your future love life is much brighter in the New Year then it was in the past.

Wow, my X had the same problem and now is asking me to go to the movies. I was polite and said I had a conflict (which I do) but the urge to say drop dead was right at the tip of my tongue.
