I like what I see so far and I hope it's the greatest movie yet, from Lucas... Wishful thinking here. The first two movies: A New Hope & The Empire Strikes Back, were better than all of the other movies, that have just too much techno drama and too many alien costumes for my taste. Chewbacca should have been the only furry creature in the whole history of Star Wars. In 1977, I was 13 and gazed at the movie screen with amazement, like I'd never been amazed before, even better than the ladies section in the Sear's catalog. The Empire Strikes Back was just as great, but then came 1983: I had high hopes that the third movie would be just as good. I was 19 then and was a bit embarrassed at that age, still acting like a kid about Star Wars. Standing in line at the theater, surrounded by kids and Sci-Fi nerds. Took a seat to watch the 'Return Of The Jedi' movie and what the hell are all of these Ewoks in the movie! Looked like The Muppet Show in the jungle and to me, was a distraction away from the story... George Lucas said that every movie, turned-out exactly the way he wanted. I'm afraid that I missed his vision. Nevertheless, I'm still a great fan of Star Wars. ------ This thread is Archived ------
