Katie Hopkins Slams Celebrities Paying Tribute To Cilla Black Stephanie SoteriouStephanie Soteriou August 2, 2015 10 notes
stephaniesoteriouthat even the passing of TV icon, Cilla Black, isn’t enough for her to keep her trap shut and mean opinions to herself. Who woulda thought it?
Following the devastating news that Cilla had passed away aged 72, from suspected ‘natural causes’, the celebs have come out in force to pay tribute to the woman who inspired and entertained them over the last fifty years. Which, you have to admit, is quite a feat.
Everybody from Russell Crowe to Joan Collins to Mark Wright to Caroline Flack were taking to their social media accounts to remember the very special and iconic woman, but Ms. Hopkins has decided that, erm, paying tribute to the recently parted is totally unacceptable.

Alrighty then… Taking to her own social media account, the rent-a-gob implied that not all of these responses are genuine, tweeting: “If there are any celebrities who haven’t yet tweeted their sadness over Cilla, please report to Sincerity Services immediately #rushtogush”. Yikes.

Cilla Black "willed herself to die", a childhood friend has said. Terry McCann said he "wasn't surprised" to find out Black had died, and told the BBC that the last thing she had said to him was she was going blind and had arthritis. Mr McCann, a close friend, said: " She willed herself to die. She said, 'Bobby's waiting for me'. "Her mother went the same way. I don't know what her mother died of but it seemed she associated it with her mother's death and she just knew it was going to happen. "She just said, 'Look at me, I'm a wreck'. I was trying to cheer her up. She knew something we didn't. "She knew she was going to die and she said she wasn't going to linger like her mother. "Her mother was ill for two years and she had the same complaint and she said she was never going to linger like that." Black's death is not being treated as suspicious but post-mortem results were "inconclusive", according to reports quoting Spanish police. It has been suggested that Spanish police are investigating whether her death was caused by a fall from a dizzy spell, caused by a sudden temperature change in the room.
