Amateur rocket clubs have a great deal of legislation they have to deal with as they launch, but the apparently unrestricted nonsense surrounding UAV's should be dealt with,...if not,...then make sure they can outfly my ADA (anti-drone armament!)

It has happened here in California too many times with the wild fires and the air help, they've had to ground them due to the dang droens.
I find it odd your friend is being sued for shooting one out of the sky . The stress it puts on animals should win his fight in court. Let's just hope.

Drones are a nuisance to wild life too and some birds have taken down some drones (small ones)
