What are you eating for your Christmas Dinner? Traditional turkey or something different?

My family is having turkey and all the trimmings. But we also make crab legs and prawns. Us being from Portugal we all love our seafood.

Had some lobster today...not a usual thing but since you mentionned seafoodgrin

I've actually been working on making some meat pies...attacking the dough tonight...will let you all know how it turned out. I am making some beef ones, some pork and chicken ones, and some 3 meat ones as well.

If I have time before I start working after christmas I might make some rabbit ones....just takes more time...

Turkey and everything else is usual for us as well...

Since my mother was sick and so she really couldn't cook anything this year we got Pizza delivered and had some fried chicken. For dessert we had all sorts of yummy things, gingerbread cookies, sugar cookies, homemade timbits, fudge, brownies, mini cakes etc...

My uncle and aunt are hosting the traditional turkey and Ham dinner for New years this year. Everyone brings a pot luck dish and dessert.

Great now I am craving a huge turkey dinner and the grocery stores are all closed today and I didn't take out a chicken from the freezer. Oh well guess some McDonalds for us today LOL
