ali110: that's what happens in Pakistan , Afghani came here as refugee and many of them were terrorists
I think problem is that Pakistan and India occupied and divided Kashmiri...and perhaps one of the solution to end with terrorism is to free Kashmiri from all of you in region... than we might all have some peace ...
In response to: ISIS has openly boasted that 4,000 of their members are among the refugees who already have entered Europe. About 70% of these refugees are men between the ages of 18 and 45. The attack on Paris was perpetrated by ISIS members who were recent refugees from Syria. The devastation caused by just a handful of terrorists in Paris will be multiplied exponentially, with the hundreds of thousands, into the millions, that are pouring into Europe.
If we truly is a concerned citizen, protection of your own country and race lies where you're in. Neither..USA couuld save Europe or vice versa..it will never work..reason for why each country is tempted to have it's own nuclear program. Joint forces and effort in the ME was screwed up..what others think or write is just so far from the real solution..stay vigilant to your own environment/country...it's in there where your stands and ferocity is needed.

One among the valid reasons why majority of the French asked for the revision of Schengen..French knows well that open entry brings in undesired elements to one's country...enemies ...i precise enemies don't limit now to bombing humans..they're up to nuclear sites.. inside vigilance..and own's capacity to protest his own country is among the latest internal/real issue.
epirb: Get involved , I spend time reading a lot of news sites and I know whats going on . You need to challenge your elected leaders . You give Life crap over her posts yet you need to take a page from her book as she gives her local leaders crap . Start voting , its as little as 5 % that change governments you count . There will be people around you who think just like you , engage them . Don't worry about the labels it shows traction .
Haha nice that you have noticed my little battles with Life
As for the rest: easier said than done, especially when you are employed by the one you should not question
But I understand your point and agree, if I live to see my retirement, I will start being very active then, but I am afradi it may be too late

Schengen is not in place that is for sure. But the French should also be concerned about:
1. the immigrants in e.g. Calais - the illegals that are just left there, why aren't they returned to Africa?

I regret i am not in the full capacity and the authority to solve and answer your inquiries..i am only doing up to my own limits...whatever i will say & write here won't in anyway change what's going on ..each one of us has it's own livehood/ expertise as well as conviction.. as far as i'm concerned i'm still exercising fully my freedom..until here what else to ask for? I'll face whatever tomorrow reserves...

And at last i understand arguing like dogs do doesn't serve any thing but just passing idle moments in the most ineffective manner...i've tried and i understand and learn the lessons..nothing good it brought...

I can vote in elections for two countries; in Austalia and another in Europe true Consulate in Melbourne so hey we're all connected and effected with what's happening on different continents, even if many people are not in position to vote for the elections of two diferent continents...and what's happening in Europe or America influences the rest of the world. However I got your well made point.

I have double nationality too.. i think voting and wanting to have a peaceful religion have a very minimal influence to the OP...or maybe i don't follow it right. Terrorists don't care whom we voted for. Right or left..they strike..that's how i see it.

You have a good point that I can not entirely agree with because communicating on any suitable social media does expend people views to learn from each other and maybe even effect someone to change mind of previous views ...I know that as much we're all limited to certain deegre...we never stop learning and no one know how and what some expressed views from stranger can effect other people mind and life ...hopefully in good way ...no matter if is at first point received as bad news. I do agree that arguing is waist of time but even that is also learning opponent mind to find the truth for the truth sake...and personal growth of preferable understanding for understanding sake of our own pleasure to learn...

I don't really cater as to what it could do as possitive effects as to the argumentations here could bring,, as what you have noticed most of the forumers here doesn't live in the same country,,what might be good for Australia will surely not be adoptable/fit somewhere,,and most of the political views here are already well pronounced taking into considerations one experiences and way of life,,and of certain age,, the young don't participate in the political forums, most of the time it's the seniors whose years are somewhat limited and won't influence greatly on the perceptions of the young minds,,the youth mingle well with the globalization, wherever they are,,and that's quite encouraging ,,,

And what as you could follow,, forumers in the political threads are no longer in the capacity nor willing to change their views, we can't go against that because their minds and stands are influenced by their environment,, not everybody fight the same battle.

Correct, not everybody is fighting the same battle! It doesn't matter to me if someone will change their mind or not, it's personal choice ... It's not about arguing or fighting but to expend views of those who cares, including my own expansions of views to learn true process of exchanging informations of what each of us know...that may also question of what we know if is true...and as long we have luxury to questioning all we know,we are closer to the truth for the sake of the truth that can save us in carefully choosing who will run our goverment, where people power is not overrun by dictators to destroy our Civilization.

tomcatwarne: I'm sure you are right, my little pickled onion
...little pickled onion? I guess it's better to be called pickled onion rather than little garlic. But garlic is natural antibiotic and I think onion too, so it all works well...as long I am not compered to some poison toxic. ..
