MysteriousGirl80: I checked them out, got a radiohead vibe.
PT?...that's interesting, what track?... I'll leave a bit of Steven Wilson here for you, from the his 2018 'to the bone' CD... SW was the founder member and songwriter of Porcupine Tree...
'The Endless Enigma' ... An international project featuring Rachael Flowers performing 'fugue' and EE1 & EE2 piano parts... Originally written and performed by Emerson, Lake and Palmer and taken from side one of their 1973 studio album 'Trilogy'...

MysteriousGirl80: Yeah, porcupine tree, listened to 3 of their tacks yesterday, can't remember the names though.
Listened to that link there, wouldn't be my cup of tea, but each to their own
Hey hey MG, happy Sunday, congrats on the run... Id be administering my own cpr if I tried running from the sitting room to the kitchen... But enough about my athletic prowess... Yeah, Endless Enigma probibly stopped me from ever being lovable, on account of progressive rock being a bit like a musical version of a Yorkie bar..."its not for girls"....(love to see that advert pass muster now)... Steven Wilson on the other hand is a horse of a different color... *To the bone* is his first proper forey into popular music, no small achievement in a 25 year career... I posted PWED, but 'pariah', 'song of i' and 'song for the unborn' are well worth taking the time to look up...

Hideeho Arthur, happy Sunday to you too , Jesus, I only walked it, that was hard enough You should give it a try, you might surprise yourself
Okay, listened to "song of I", found it a bit trippy but pariah is a nice song

Song of I would make a great bond theme song... Pariah has Ninet Tayeb on vocals.... israile singer, she worked with SW on 'hand cannot erase', a musical tribute/account of Joyce Carol Vincent, a woman who died in her London flat and wasn't discovered until three years later when bailiffs went to collect overdue rent money....

Arthur_Sixpence: I know the name, (there's a biffy clyro signature fender bass I had my eye on)... Surprise me.... You've got a handle on my style by now I'd say...
For me, this was not just a career best album, but a work never since matched in terms of abstract concept...
For the best effect, listen through good quality headphones or a good quality sound system... If you have the time, treat this as you would a film, try to take it in one sitting...
