You say you want to date but your actions as a man show other wise. Is there a reason why a man would lead a woman on? By this I mean a guy who says "I can get use to this" and "you have a gentle soul" and compliments out the ying yang. What is a man really trying to do here? Or is it my fault? Did I read into something that wasn't there? Just so confused.

I can honestly answer yes to that question in the Subject space. At one time I had no interest in women which was right after my ex tossed me out. I was going thru post surgery depression at the time which totally screwed up my summer.
It took me a couple years to finally decide that I wanted someone to be my best friend, lover and wife but the way my son was at the time I put my life on hold to try and fix what he was having problems with. Now that he's 18 and about to move out I'm looking for that special someone again.

Guys like the one I figure making you ask these questions give the rest of us a bad rap (not the music) need some serious attitude adjusting.

Good question, Kandie. I knew you hadn't ran out of good questions, yet. Some time the really good ones are harder to ask. Gut reactions can be true, Kandie. I think so far I have tried to hit on 5 ladies since I have been here. Luckily for me they were stronger than me. I embarrass myself on a daily basis and it helps to keep my ego somewhat down. The heart doesn't know any better than to go after it wants. My mind and heart argue a lot. Doesn't matter which of them wins I always seem to lose. Insanity is making the mistakes over again and again and expecting different results. Live and learn. Sometimes, only you know what is best for you. Don't be confused. Listen to that small voice inside of you. We all are in different stages of growth whether we want to admit it or not. But that is only my opinion.
