i had a kid knock on the door tonight could'nt have been 16 yrs old.he said he wanted help.then told me he ran from the group home up the road.he said he just wanted to go to the hospitalbut they would'nt take him.so i called 911 and they told me he was violent.i found him very plesant and polite.when the police should up they put him in hancuffs.he never struggled he just wanted to go to the hospital.how are they going to help these kids if they don't listen to what they are trying to sayconfused

he was probably scared. just last night, my daughter was missing money from her bedroom and naturally (and quickly) blamed my nephew because he has been in some legal trouble in the past. once a criminal, always a criminal right? I know that he didn't do it.

I feel sorry for the boy that you are talking about. He is in a bad situation. Any state home (group or institution) is less than ideal.
