We have a very prominent fine candy store business here in Cape Breton...I have to say they know their sweets!!! and sometimes their descriptions will make your mouth salivate without having tried one yet!

I got there intending to get out with 3 bucks..and always walk away with a bag of 30$ worth...and that's with not talking to one customer service rep since I know my way around...lol..they don't need to tell me nothing...lol..only the new!!

I just had a lady come in and order a $10,000 piece. A Chocolate sculpture for a wedding.

It's really important to know your customers! And know what they want. wine

Be careful and mean what you say. I went to Texas for three weeks because a man said "come on down" - so - I did! I had a great time in Texas and we are still very good friends.

So be careful when you tell a woman to come on down. She just might surprise you and take you up on your offer. L.

PS. I admit that we sent many, many e-mails back and forth and spent many hours talking on the telephone before I went to Texas. However, the risk was worth it!

I am a full time mother of 2. Now that is considered work to me and I am sure other parents as well lol

I am currently on maternity leave. Before that I was in the hotel Industry (Marriott hotels) and did childcare. I am hoping to get back into the hotel and tourism industry as I really enjoyed it. They are opening up a Marriott hotel in the city here and I applied and hope I can get in there.
