as one who can speak from experience....its a form of alot of things ....its love, its trying to show that one can be changed...its overall fear, no one else to turn to, its alot of things!!!!

unless they have you tied up or locked in a room there is nothing stopping you.i don't buy fear

oh but he knows where you live he knows where you work he has already beaten you and threatened to kill you.....tell me fear wouldnt take you over too

i still don't buy the fear part this day and age there are to many places to find help.the other parts i agree to a certain extent.

i believe one person in the relatiohship had the connection we are all looking for.

Ok, let me paint a scenario for you,

Boy meets girl, they date, they have relationship, all is sweetness and light, no indication of any abusive behaviours, they move intogether..

The slow decline starts with the odd negative comment, then continual put downs, accusations threats, then possibly physical violence...what am I saying here? it doesnt happen over night usually, those women and men that are in violent situations would be out the door like a rocket if it came out of the blue.

But usually it isn't, it is insidious, and slow building, until you done know if it is your fault or theirs.

You have obviously been blessed to be raised as a child in a loving home, and to have a gentle quiet life, and very gentl loving neighbours

please dont close your eyes to the thoughts that it is not possible to get stuck in a violent relationship, you have obviously never been exposed to it
