ItmightbemeOkotoks, Alberta Canada44 Threads 792 PostsIt seems that lately there are a lot of good people leaving CS Canada Forums. I don't like to see anyone leave. We are a relativily small group. Any ideas on what we can do to encourage people to stay? L.
Less bickering between people would be a nice thing. Who wants to post their opinions when others are getting bashed for expressing theirs. Isn't expressing an opinion part of a forum. Yes, we have lost some good people.
Yes unfortunatly a few good ones have left and I miss them.
This place isn't the same as it used to be and its very disappointing at times. I had thought about leaving today but thought why give the satisfaction to the others? I don't think so. So staying put because I enjoy it here and will not let other things get to me.

Well now Tracy - don't you leave! People remember, if someone sends you nasty e-mail messages - you can just "block them". People can't get too nasty on the Forums or the monitors will remove what they have posted. Just don't get into a fight with people regarding their opinions. L.
Yes, people need to be able to discuss different opinions without bickering. I can understand how that impression could cause people to not participate in the forums. L.

Perhaps that cs has been know to be a good place. What I've noticed more though is that people stay shorter as they don't feel it's their type of place to be.
In that note...I hope to have brought back out a few good threads. Bringing back out a bit of me. Way to many times have I been caught in the middle of those childish games lately... and I purposely took some out that had Pucks in them to show how nice it use to be as well.
Also that it was the same back them but not for the same reasons and not as bad as what it has gotten at. Hope you can all realize that.

That I speak for myself...my own experience..certainly is because of a few members that are on these forums. So most likely I will be leaving of my good old good will....so much better that way.
I did not state that to insinuate that CS is negative and is about negativeness...on the contrary..so I'd rather leave before it gets ugly.
I certainly will also not say goodbye..I will just go and not return..

I think the forums change contantly> it is like phases. The more people who join (which appears to be increasing) the more changes there will be. The forums wont stay the way they were last year and they wont stay the way they are this year in 2008.

Sorry to hear and read about the kerfuffle of late. Looking forward to posting again from time to time. This forum is great, a little quiet and laid back for the most part, but that's cool. See you in the threads

See you in the threads itmightbeme, i wouldnt call it a kerfuffle, but it was a disagreeing in opinion that some people could not accept or talk rational about. and id say that is not the reason why some people are leaving. this is a dating site, so oviously people are finding mates and leaving. some people are too busy, lots of overtime at work, family matters, other things to do, many many different reasons why people choose to leave. and some only leave for a few days or a week, and they are back. people shouldnt jump to conclusions so fast.
