i wouldnt need a second chance, i wouldnt go as far as to mess it up in the first place.
why cheat? i just dont see the point in it.
when im with womeone i am totally and utterly devoted to that person and that person alone.
i wouldnt even dream of cheating on the woman i like now, ever!!!
i can promice her that aswell.kiss

HiTinkerbell,
Thats a very difficult one to answer, each case is differant, but "IF" it was just the once, and he was a good father WHY take your sons Dad away from him, sounds like everyone is loosing out. If there was some problems in the relationship that made him do it, could you discuss things now? YOU KNOW BEST. Its very sad though.
Is it worth fighting for and swollowing your pride, or is it too late?
Good Luck,
Alan,

hi tinkerbell,

you were obviously ready to get out of the relationship, dont feel guilty about it being to harsh, its only harsh on him because he thought he would get away with it,

i do think someone deserves a second chance but thats only if you both really want it and can forget as well as forgive,

goodluck in the future hun hug

Second chances should be a no - go. I think my ex partner was on her 10th? chance, (I suspect she cheated plenty of times) but I constantly forgave her for lieing etc, (And she was middle aged).

My ex cheated .... twice .... the first time, I stayed for us ... the second time, I left for me ...

Once you are second you can't ever really be first again. JMO
