I have a friend who has been to over 40 countries. I can ask him what he suggests if you tell me what you are after. Recently he showed my video of him swimming with whale sharks.
Have you considered the wrongly spelled Galopacose Islands?
I would love to go to Europe during the Formula 1 racing season. I'd go to the Grand Prix of Spain, or Portugal. If not that then I'd like to take an Alaskan Cruise.
That would be cool, thanks TikiGuy. Let's see - great snorkel spots, hiking, ecotourism, people I can learn about the rest of the world from, simplicity (no frills), great food, diverse cultures - not necessarily all in one place. I plan to live and travel for many years to come
Galop's would be great, and some times I worry that place is loved to much (eg. getting overrun) - but I've never been.
Hi, Singleton... I've been lucky. So many more places I'd like to visit and ponder, and places I'd like to go back to. The world is to big and wonderful for my skin and time on earth....
At the moment I am pondering India. Many of my friends are from there, and still have family there - so a bit of family hopping would be fun and a great way to be a part of it, rather than just a tourist. From what I've learned so far, it would take a lifetime just to travel India!
Pick #2 - 1-2 weeks on a catamaran wherever there are lots of secluded islands and great snorkeling
Europe (France, Greece, Andorra, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Poland)
Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia)
Australia
Egypt
Holidayed in Cuba Borneo Myanmar (Burma) Cyprus Indonesia Russia
So ... where to go next ... ?
Well, I will be doing a 9 month tour of the US/Canada from April 2008. Buying a large motorcycle and starting in the South West of the States, riding all the way up the East Coast, across the central part of Canada, and down the West Coast. Ending up in California for Christmas.
During this time, I will be making video diaries and hopefully someone will want to give me large sums of money to visit people on CS as I tour around!!!
I would go to Tierra del Fuego in Argentina. Its like being in a different world the Glaciers are unbelievable, there is literally a beautiful scene every place you look. Words cannot describe the beauty.
