I seriously hope the world will never have the same currency. Due to the fact that I was living in Spain when the Euro came and I lost about 20% of my salary and everything got more expensive.
If this would ever happen to a third world country it will tip their fragile economy over the end once and for all.

First of all we need to understand, that we actually have just ONE world! Creating a world currency would make it necessary (like in Europe happen right now) to bring those "1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-world-countries" to the same standards. By raising the standard of some and maybe lowering it of others
