wwry13newton, Iowa USA44 Threads 568 Postsis it really that strange to name your car or truck? i named my neon robin because she is red and she was cheap. my old dodge truck was named tiffany. and my first car was a 1967 plymouth barracuda which i named claudia. and i did love her. and if i had a girl in the car with me she would break down. sounds weird but i am serious. and i named my 1971 plymouth satellite claudia jr. this might sound weird but my dad sold my barracuda and when i saw it leave town on a trailer my heart dropped to my stomach. that car meant that much to me. so can you share your car names? and if you think it is insane to name your cars.

I don't really name my cars, though I used to have an old banger of a car which was a strange orangey red colour, a dear friend called it "The Tomato"!! (former friend??!!).
Now, I have a red car, no name, but one of my friends was rather envious of the Italian Stallion in my car one day!!! This Italian Stallion being a cuddly "Ferrari" stallion, with all the logos, and I call him "Enzo", of course! He was cute, but looked more like a donkey than a stallion ............ still a cutey! He was a gift and I treasure him. Nearest thing I am likely to get to a Ferrari.....

No, I have never given my car a name. But I did used to have a VW Polo that wasn't red, wasn't orange, but a strange orangey-red colour (or was it a strange reddish-orange??) and I had friends call it "The Tomato"...........Mmmmmm?? Needless to say, I didn't have it for long!!
