I work nights, as well. I have worked the night shift for quite a while now (years), and I'm STILL not "used" to it...you'll eventually get tired enough & crash out during the day. Good luck!

Search out UnionJoe..a feller who comes on ever once-in-awhile, I believe he's working nights again..he's have some pointers Good Luck..have worked nights too, and it does take our bodies awhile to adjust Don't worry Joseph is like most men, loves to give good advise when asked..just in case you're not familiar with that crazy man::roll:
i suggest that you close all the doors, noise, lights and get comfortable in bed with a do not disturb sign on the outside of your room, turn off the telephone and anything else that goes beep eat properly. reduce your caffeine as it comes close to sleep time and do everything that you normally would do before you go to bed and do everything that you would normally do when you are awake "stay off of the drugs"--sedatives and make it a routine at the same time all the time it will take your body some time to get used to it good luck
Room darkening shades and a loud fan always helps. You will eventually be tired enough to sleep. After coming home, you still have to take some time to unwind before you go to bed though. Worked second shift for over 20 years and LOVED it. Wish I could work it again...
