touch meLily my view regarding a player is the same as yours, and he probably said that because he didn't get his own way and you didn't give him your e-mail address, I wouldn't worry about it his loss.

It's just I get a lot of them and they all say here's my email address contact me direct. I respond with a thank you but prefer to keep my mail through this system and after two or three other messages saying it's easier for them to chat away from the board etc or they want the messages to be on a more familiar basis and I still say thanks but don't pass on my private email, they don't get in touch anymore. It's funny because in a couple of those messages although they were polite and quite charming I was called a player for not passing on my personal details.
Lily, I don't think you're a player, I think it was a phrase he used to entice you into proving to him you weren't by passing on your details. If you understand what I mean. Don't stress over it, the only player about at the time was him!

I always thought a player is someone who plays silly games, has a few contacts on the go at the same time and feeding them all the same sort of lines. Am I wrong in thinking this?
A guy sent me a message today which I politely replied to, a few messages went back and forth, which were only polite conversation. He asked for my direct e-mail details which I told him, I didn't share with people I didn't know and he said, I was just a player
