Youcannow: Most wars nowadays are fought through the media & Hamas is way ahead in the polling .
They embarrassed the so called self claimed “most sophisticated”army on earth
This embarrassment has lead Israel to a knee-jerk reaction of bombing at will , killing thousands of innocent lives & the media images coming out of Gaza are there for all to see .
The rhetoric coming out of the Israel government is on par with Hamas , in the sense of the Genocidal language.
Israel have us believing that it all started in the 7/10 when the majority of people know it’s been on going since the creation of the Israeli state .
Well, I can find no disagreement with what you wrote. The current Israeli military is based on reservists to give it teeth. Yes, they have prior military training . But you just can't call them up and toss them into a fight and expect them to perform well. It takes months of refresher training before they are competent again.

And those reservists are no longer working in the economy. Many of them won't bring home a military paycheck that will cover their civilian bills.

And I agree, this issue goes back decades. It did not suddenly start last October.

This is forum is a good example of how people cannot calmly discuss these complex issues. Simpletons tossing about silly insults with no core understanding of the conflict. Don't bother me none, I can tolerate fools.

OddTraveller: Iran had nothing to do with it. Yes, I know what the Israeli government says in that regard. Their motive is to try and drag the USA into direct military support.

Kind of a false of hope. The USA no longer has the military capacity to get into a real scrap anywhere in the world at this time. The glory days of the 1990s are long gone.

As for releasing money to Iran, it was their money to begin with. Seizing it accomplished nothing but create more animosity.
you mean to tell me that the Clerics terrorizing Iran now,are the Rightful ,legal Inheritors of Iran?rolling on the floor laughing
Or did they had a little help from the 'fourth Kennedy' when he threw the Shah under the Bus?confused

Who is the "Rightful legal inheritors" have absolutely nothing to do with it. The Americans tossed out by force the King of the United Kingdom, the "rightful and legal inheritor" of the colonies.

And I go some sad news for you. That royal family ain't never going to rule here again.

The same for Iran. You deal with reality. If the Iranians wish a regime change, that is on them. Peacetime trade sanctions seldom accomplish the intended outcome. But they are a great way to earn animosity from the people you are suppose to be advocating.
