My daughter is shy by nature...It can be hard, yes.
Myself, lol. Up front as I am, taking a compliment will turn me red as all get out. Still can't do it with grace...Can't help it, I blush. Probably where my daughter gets it from. She can get painfully shy at times.

My daughter was shy from the get go, so maybe genetics, too? Not sure.
