i believe in god and i believe in the truth of science. i do NOT however believe in any religion. I have a peronal relationship with god and have no time for being part of a religious group being told what to believe and how to think.
i DO believe in god but on my own terms and in my own way. My faith is deeply personal and i think thats how everyones relationship with god should be. If we all believed what we wanted and didnt try to force our beliefs down others necks then all wars - well most of them - would never have come to pass..

Just felt like jumping in here...And NO!! not to slight or belittle any comments that have been made so far....Just a reaffirmation if you like..... For a while there I thought you were a college/uni student doing a thesis on the motivational factors determining peoples replies on everyday chat site threads...But there again maybe I'm wrong...Maybe you are!!....I thought I'd put forward my opinion on why as you put it...People respond to nonsensical threads... JMO...... A lot, if not most or indeed all folk, after putting down a long hard day/week in whatever role of life they strive to carve out for themselves either physically or Psychologically need an outlet, without having to go through the exertion of "getting ready" to go out....What better outlet than to sit and chat with "acquaintances" online...It dont require any getting ready and or travelling...It s a means to unwind and relax without the need to overburden oneself in concentrated thought...So what better way than to engage in the frivolity of threads such as...Word association (either Northside or Southside)/Triple word game/Random Chitchat thread which you will notice are quite popular in comparison to the serious threads that require a lot of concentration to keep in touch with... Also these threads may be the only outlet some have where they feel what they have to say is getting through ie:- being heard ...An old saying springs to mind here....”Sometimes you may feel like you’re the only person in the world, But remember that at other times you could be the only world in one person”... That leads me back to your question...”Why are nonsensical threads so popular “...Just because they differ from what your interpretation of nonsensical may be does not in itself make them so...As derrywoman points out we are all different, so have different understandings....I think thats why CS is so popular a site...We are ready to accept that we all have different individual understandings of “life” and are prepared to work around our individualisms in the hope that it will lead us to the ultimate reason for joining this site in the first place... Now let me “reaffirm “ here that I’m not getting at any one particular post or individual understanding but rather just giving my opinion on why I find there is such a diversity of replies to certain threads... Oh!! And just to clarify...No!! I don’t find the word games nonsensical...Just a way to to view other peoples thought patterns...They are “Ace”!!!
A womans dress sense is but one arrow in her arsenal of flirtations...She uses her dress sense as a tool to enhance and accentuate the attractiveness of her body...She uses it as an "unspoken flirt"...The more revealing the "outfit" the more gamier the intention of flirting...How often have you seen it, a "beaut" enters a room wearing a most revealing outfit and all male(and some female) eyes are on her...From the off she has just flirted with everyone and has not said a word...
Also there is the "very personal dress sense flirt"...Just for that someone special...Ladies!!..How often have you done it...Just to see the expression on his face and that twinkle in his eyes...Yes its done to have the desired effect on the one its intended for...
A woman also uses her dress sense to reaffirm her comfort in knowing her own body...She has a beautiful body and makes no secret of it...
Am going to put my head on the proverbial block here...But to me I find that the human body...Male/female is at its most attractive when sensual dress skills are used to accentuate it...
But there again maybe...just MAYBE she's on the level.....and if so then she's gotta be admired...For what she has achieved and for knowing just what she wants from this life..."Go for it gurl"!!!!
And just one point if she's reading this....The best education sometimes is'nt to be got in colleges or universities...It comes from the biggest baddest school of all....LIFE.......
