So what's up for All Hallow's Eve? Plans yet?? Dressing up??? As what???? Favorite things to do????? Need more question marks??????

I always dress up and I always go as myself - my inner self, the Who I feel I Am. I've been to Salem for Halloween (it rocks!), but it's not budgeted this year, sigh (2000 miles with gas prices as the are was not forseen). My roommate and I are planning on throwing a bash this year, hopefully going to canopy the entire backyard and have some fun. We've got a duel "kegerator" and a FULL liqour cabinet, so that should take some of the edge off...you??????? (that's 7 Q marks for those counting)

I have most of my costume ready for this year...I'm being a Mario brother =D But I havn't had any luck on finding a red hat. Thats all I need, I can put the little M on it myself lol.

But I'm not sure if I'll hand out candy this year, since I'm in a new town and all. I'm kinda scared what these city kids will do to a country bumpkin like me =X

I've always wanted a Devo Energy Dome ("red hat")!
Some years I stay home and pass out candy, others I go get candy (I can do that since I'm short and no one knows the child behind the mask).
The years I do go out I usually put a full kettle of candy on the doorstep with the note, "take one, but I'm watching you";) I've NEVER run out of candy that way, even when it was overflowing.

I saw Devo on Halloween years ago. The tickets were discounted if you showed up in costume. Being in NYC, no one on the subway looked at us twice. Just a normal everyday thing for them :)

I live on this old gravel road that was just chatted just this summer. I haven't been here before on Halloween because just arrived at this place last December. I am glad you reminded me that Halloween is coming. I might remember to get some candy in case any kids come by my house. If they don't, oh, well, I like candy, lol.

In the four years I've been in this apt I have had only one kid come on Halloween. That was my cousins son and that was the first year I was in here. I've bought candy only to have no kids show. Not going to bother this year.

Also I'm gonna hit up all the haunted houses/forest/hedge mazes I can find! I love those =D Plus, I have tickets to the local ghost train, which I goto every year cause it rocks the house! Its just like any old train ride...except they get held up by ghost robbers, whom last year wore glow in the dark paint and had red glowing paint comeing from their eyes. Plus while the train is moving you can look out the windows and see zombies attacking eachother. They used to jump onto the train, but quit after someone fell under the train while trying to grab onto it. Ok, I'm done ranting lol.

My house is haunted, lmfaooo

There's a place near here in Chesterfeild Named after a woman...Only thing left is the stone staircase...Supposedly, she buried stuff in the woods around there and whomever finds it it's thiers...A legend..

also..
Keene - Keene State College - Huntress Hall - Harriet Huntress is said to roam the attic and fourth floor of Huntress. In her later years she had to use a wheelchair to get around, and some say you can hear the wheels scraping against the floor. The wheelchair is still in the attic.

I wish we had "haunted" sites like that here in Kentucky, but the best we have is a civil war battlefeild. Tho, I belive my highschool is haunted cause I had a werid experience there one night;
It was after a choir concert and everyone was helping to clean up the haunted house that we build to raise money for the choir itself, and I decided to go into the second floor so I could get to my locker and grab some homework that was over due. My sister came up with me since she was in the choir as well and I was her ride home.
Anyway I got upstairs and was pulling stuff from my locker when the over head lights started to flash, like someone flipping the switch. The thing was...my locker is beside the switchs. Then the lights went back to normal or a minute and I was like "ok, that was fun". Then two by two, the lights started going out on the other end of the wall way. When I noticed it I felt a cold wind come down the hall and I turned to my sister and said "time to go!" So I slammed my locker shut and made a run for it. Luckily I was close to the stairs and just "flew" down them with my sister in tow. I ran into a couple of other choir members and they tired to say "hi" but I as I ran past I said "I'll explain tomorrow!"
The next day I explained everything, and was belived as well, since I was pretty stoic(sp?) all thru school and never showed much emotion.

Ah, this reminded me that when I was dating right after high school my future wife and I used to go make out at a 'haunted' house dubbed "Witch Hazel's" - it was an old abandoned farm house in Indiana. It was quiet there and we needed a place since the cops already kicked us out of the park we used to frequent.
Anyway when we realized she was pregnant we also came to the conclusion it probably happened there, at the haunted house. That fetus turned teenager is still haunting me to this day...
