Recognition at first sight...don't know about love...I have had that...that jolt...never having seen each other before in this lifetime...but there is that 'thing' that happens...
so I did go back for a second look and third and fourth and....was a partner for a good few years, and is now one of my bestest friends in the whole world...

No, not love at first sight. I do believe there is a "knowing" or "connection" that one feels with others. This can be a friend or someone who you end up loving in a romantic/lover fashion.

Love at first site is the state of mind I feel a lot of people have, because of silly movies. If you knew a good definition of love, this "Love at first site" would not be worthy of thought. I say, no. I don't believe in Love at First Site. You can be into their looks, but no one can love someone by the way they look.
