this guy once spent 180 dollars on tickets to a hockey game i was dying to see, i didn;t even know he was interested in me until i got there. it sucked telling him i didn't like him as anymore than a friend.

If I’m infatuated with a woman I could probably love her too.
Chances are that if I don’t like her personality then I wouldn’t be infatuated with her in the first place.
So for me infatuation and love kind of go hand-in-hand. I most certainly do hope to be infatuated with my lover.
But I have no expectations of ever finding a lover anyway. So it’s all moot.

I was infatuated with this one lady. Everybody kept telling me that she was just using me. When I came out of the infatuation I was sure mad. I had wonder what I had seen in her in the first place. I have been infatuated many times. I felt like I had empowered the other person when I became infatuated. Nothing like when you are crazy about them and they couldn't care less if you even exist.
