Even a selfless act is selfish.
The personal gain that someone gets from a selfless act is selfish.
Say for example you pick Mother Theresa ... she would be classed as a selfless person.
But she did her thing because she felt better for knowing that she helped.
You have to be motivated to do a selfless act, and that motivation is actually being selfish

One day when a railroad attendant was enjoying time with his son as he tended his duties he busied himself with a few things that he needed to do. His son wandered down the track aways while he busied himself. One of his duties at his job was to change the tracks over for certain trains that were scheduled to pass by. soon it was time for him to change the track for a passanger train that was coming.
The man realized his son was not near and began to look for him. He could hear the whistle of the train as it came near letting him know to change the track over. The man noticed his son had wandered into the near by tunnel that the passenger train would travel down when it passed. There was not enough time. With heavy heart the man changed the tracks just as the passenger train was passing.
He fell to the ground and wept as the train entered the tunnel.
Now, I ask you, where is the selfish act in that story. The story is true. I just cant remember where to find it right now. It is not verbatim mind you but it is the idea that I am conveying

Not nesessarily Deng boy as sometimes people just come out of nowhere and need help and you may not even have met them before and may do something for them without even thinking about it because that is the sort of person you are and do it without thinking. There is no time for motivation in those instances and in a split second you may have provided something to someone without even realising it..................trust me!
