I have been on this website for a little while and met a couple good people, but they all live in differnt states or countries. I don't understand why its so hard to meet anybody in my own area. Its not like Im ugly and even if I was I would think there would be a couple girls down here who like a good looking normal white dudeconfused

I have been on the site for quite a while.
Not really sure. But have noticed not many from
Florida post in the forums. Hopefully that will
change. It has been a good way to get to now
others and their personalities. Been in the
same situtation since July 2006...

Been in and out of this site for a while.... and besides one case of harassment... haven't gotten much from it.

My answer to that question about finding someone from our own home town is this; I think the majority of people like the idea of meeting others from different areas because they think locals are boring, and not to mention most think the grass is greener on the other side. Just an opinion...

This new forum should help. You are right however, most people that I have met on this site live very far from me. It can be hard but remember if you really care for each other distance should be something that you should try to overcome. I know I have a huge romantic streak!

I don't recommend that... you will usually get caught in the end... and the end is usually worse than not having anything at all.

The best I have right now is a singles group that I've joined here in Daytona ... we get together on weekends... have dinner... go to outings... and sometimes have camping weekends.

Beats not having anything at all...

I agree with evie on this one...but not just boring. I live in a small town, everyone knows everyone, lol. Not much of a selection. This site seems small as well, so I doubt I will ever meet a local on here anyway. It's ok though, I like the conversations that take place here. I have learned since being single...it takes alot of patience, otherwise you will settle and end up single again...have to start over! This hasn't happened to me, just a theory. Yes, I would like to get it right this time.
